Servicing cars in North London since 1974
Everything here is built around servicing. Andy started White Rose Motors in 1974 and still runs it, and the business has spent five decades doing the same thing: servicing cars properly, to the manufacturer schedule, so the warranty stays intact and the car keeps working. An Oil Service starts from £125 + VAT and a Full Service from £225 + VAT, MOTs are £45, and the MOT is free with a Full Service when you quote the code freeMOT. Free collection and delivery is available for eligible servicing customers within the collection area, subject to location and workshop capacity. The garage must confirm the address, vehicle and required work in advance.
Three addresses, one workshop
We were on Linden Way in Southgate from 1982 to 2009, then on High Road in North Finchley from 2008 to 2022, and since 2022 we have been at The Coppetts Centre on the North Circular in N12. Customers have followed us across all three, which is the part we are proudest of. Over 6,000 customers have used the garage.
The people
This is a family business. Andy created it and still runs it, and some of the team have been here more than 40 years, which is unusual anywhere and almost unheard of in a garage. It means the person looking at your car has probably seen the same fault a hundred times before. It also means you speak to someone who knows the workshop when you get in touch, because we have deliberately never put an online system between you and us.
The workshop
The site has 14 ramps, two ramps set aside purely for wheel alignment, and its own MOT bay. Wheel alignment is laser four-wheel geometry, branded Geo by Luke after Andy's son. We hold main-dealer-level diagnostic systems, including Mercedes-Benz STAR and XENTRY, BMW group, VW Group ODIS for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT, Jaguar Land Rover, Peugeot and Citroen, and Launch professional diagnostics, and we keep investing in equipment. We update digital service history directly on official manufacturer systems for Land Rover, Jaguar, MINI, BMW, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, smart, Skoda, Volkswagen, SEAT, Audi and other VW Group brands.
Main-dealer equipment, independent prices
That is the whole idea. You get the same systems, the same schedules and the same digital record a main dealer would give you, without main dealer pricing and without being handed to a call centre. We are one of the largest independent German-car specialists in North London, and every other make is welcome too, from an older Saab to a working van.
More than servicing
We also handle bodywork and accident repairs, working with major insurance companies, alloy wheel refurbishment in house, fleet maintenance for local businesses, and 24/7 breakdown recovery back to the workshop.
