We service Daihatsus to the manufacturer schedule, so the work suits the car rather than a generic checklist. Prices start at £125 + VAT for an Oil Service and £225 + VAT for a Full Service, confirmed once we have seen the car. An MOT is £45, Class 4 and 7, and it comes free with a Full Service when you quote the code freeMOT. Free collection and delivery is available for eligible servicing customers within the collection area, subject to location and workshop capacity. The garage must confirm the address, vehicle and required work in advance. We have 14 ramps and a dedicated MOT bay, and we are open seven days a week, from 07:30 Monday to Friday and 08:30 at weekends.
What Daihatsus usually need
Daihatsu no longer sells cars in the UK, so every one we see is an older small car or compact 4x4 that has earned its keep. Age is the main factor. We look at timing belt condition against years rather than miles, check the cooling system and hoses, and go over brakes, brake pipes, suspension bushes and exhaust mountings. Corrosion is worth catching early on cars of this age. Parts sourcing takes a bit more effort on a make that has left the market, and we treat that as part of the job.
Diagnostics, bodywork and alloy wheels
We keep investing in main-dealer-level diagnostic equipment, including Launch professional systems with broad coverage, so electrical faults get traced properly. Bodywork and accident repairs are handled here, we are approved by and work with major insurance companies, and we can guide you through a non-fault claim. Estimates are free with no appointment needed, so pop in between 10am and 3pm any day. Alloy wheel refurbishment, including diamond-cut and powder coating, is done in house.
