Proton servicing at White Rose Motors
We service Protons to the manufacturer schedule, so the work is right for the car and any warranty stays intact. Prices start at £125 + VAT for an Oil Service and £225 + VAT for a Full Service, confirmed once we have seen the car. An MOT is £45, Class 4 and 7, and it comes free with a Full Service when you quote the code freeMOT. Free collection and delivery is available for eligible servicing customers within the collection area, subject to location and workshop capacity. The garage must confirm the address, vehicle and required work in advance. We have 14 ramps across the workshop and we open seven days a week, which makes it easy to fit a service around work.
What Protons usually need
Proton has left the UK market, so almost every Proton still on the road is an older car being kept going by an owner who wants it looked after properly. Our attention goes to the things that decide whether an older car passes an MOT and stays reliable: brakes, suspension, bushes and drop links, exhaust condition, cooling system, clutch wear and corrosion around mountings. Timing belt condition is judged on age, not just mileage. Parts sourcing is part of the job on a discontinued make, and we do that work rather than turning cars away.
Diagnostics, bodywork and alloy wheels
Our diagnostic equipment is main-dealer level and we keep adding to it, including Launch professional systems that cover a wide spread of makes. Bodywork and accident repairs are done here, we are approved by and work with major insurance companies, and we will guide you through a non-fault claim. Estimates are free with no appointment, so pop in between 10am and 3pm any day. Alloy wheel refurbishment, including diamond-cut and powder coating, is done in house.
